Alliance française de Victoria (AFV) is a Canadian non profit cultural and educational association dedicated to the promotion of the French language and culture. AFV has been active in Victoria for over 100 years. We offer a variety of French language courses adapted to the needs of the learners: Conversation classes, group classes, private instruction. We organize events such as lectures, book discussions and get-togethers to celebrate the French culture.
Our mission is to foster the appreciation of the French culture, to encourage the study of the French language, and to engage people in variety of activities in a welcoming and friendly French-speaking environment.

The Alliance française is a not-for-profit association. Membership is required in order to gain access to its services and benefits. Students of our French language school are granted membership in our Association with their registration.
